Our team consists of 400 hardworking pandas who create content for 125 million followers on more than 100 social media channels. Bored Panda was named #1 Facebook page in 2017, and Crafty Panda became #1 page in 2020. This time we are looking for a proactive, ambitious, and hard-working Data Engineer to join our team. This is a remote job position!
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data pipelines in SQL and Python;
- Maintain existing data retrieval scripts;
- Closely collaborate with our data analysts on various projects;
- Maintain data models across a variety of data sources;
- Ensure best data storage and management practices in our data warehouse;
- Partake in code reviews.
Requirements:
- Excellent knowledge of SQL;
- Experience using Python;
- Experience in developing data models and databases;
- Experience working with AWS is a plus;
- Fluent use of English;
- Proactive team player attitude.
