Many people don't seem to know that cats can be taken for walks, but it's actually an incredibly fun experience! Cats benefit as it's a good form of exercise, enriches their life, and is safer than free roaming.
When I got my new kitten, Reinhardt, I quickly began to train him to be on a leash and harness. It's been over a year of adventuring together, and I now have photos of him enjoying every season.

Fall fashion

Enjoying the changing of the leaves and the first bit of frost. Reinhardt doesn't mind pausing during walks to do some hat modelling.
Braving the Snow

Here's Reinhardt in his true element. The cold didn't seem to bother himone bit, and I'm sure it's due to the breed's special triple-layered coat. We prefer to go further out to forests in national parks rather than city parks during the winter because the salt used in urban areas isn't good for cat paws.
Sunset chasing in the summer

One of Reinhardt's favourite walking paths. There are often a lot of bikers here, so we're always careful to watch out for them and try our best to keep Reinhardt on one side of the pathway. He's always wearing a harness and attached to a leash, but we think it looks nicer when they're edited out of the photos.
