Two friends relax with a joint as they watch the music at the annual Beers Family Festival at Fox Hollow in Petersburg, NY in August of 1971. The photo was taken with a camera that had belonged to the daughter of a Titanic drowning victim. Larry, on the right, is that man's great-grandson. On the left is a young acquaintance whose last name is Gobi. You know, like the desert. The original print was nice and crisp, but after being reproduced more than once, it has a nice, although accidental, ambience. Instead of film-noir, think film-grise.
