I talked with some aquaintances and told them about my pulmonary embolisms, and that I was brought to the hospital with an ambulance and had to stay in the hospital for a week. This has happened twice, both in February and August of 2021 (both times with an ambulance, both times I was there for roughly a week).
They asked about my insucrance, cover, co-payment, total price, if I was in debt etc. I just kept trying to tell them, that it was all free. I don't even have an idea, what the cost was. "Haven't you seen the bill?". No, there is no bill. No co-payment. Nothing.
