‘RED’ is the first in-house short film by Ritzy Animation, a London based studio that puts character at the forefront of every project they do.
The festive animation tells the horny tale of Rudolph, AKA 'Red', as you've never seen him before. Living on the outskirts of the North pole, the famous reindeer is no longer first choice to lead the sleigh, and instead spends his days drinking Buck beers and watching trash TV.
Filled with regret, and with only whiskey and cigarettes for company, one day he makes a decision to get back in shape and earn his place back at the front of the sleigh.
Cue a ‘Rocky’ style montage and heaps of deer gags as we witness the sheer power and determination of the world’s most famous reindeer make the ultimate comeback.
In a film bursting with testosterone, carrot smoothies, and 80’s inspired hoof-wear, ‘RED’ is the result of over 2 years of blood, sweat and beers.
