Two rare white giraffes were observed in a forest park in Garissa, Kenya. According to conservationists, it is a female with her cub, both carriers of a genetic condition known as leucismo, which inhibits the pigmentation of skin cells.
According to the NGO, it is only the third time that white giraffes have been seen, and the last observation, held in March 2016, happened in the same park, and may have been from the same animal. In January of last year, a white Masai giraffe was spotted in a park in Tanzania.
