I draw and animate hilarious slice of life comics that aim to delight and brighten your day because everyone deserves good laughter.
Life can be mundane at times but it doesn't have to be boring.
There are many stories to tell and unexpected moments that make you laugh without realizing it.
And if you like what you see, follow my stuff on Instagram, YouTube, and my very own website.

I love drawing comics, as I started drawing at a young age. Recently, however, I'm transitioning into animations on YouTube, where I turn my hilarious comics into short animated skits or storytime animations. As for my comics, I depict the hilarious stuff that goes on in daily life so you can expect there will always be these slice of life comics as long as I'm drawing.

To date, these hilarious series of comics are my favorite ones. I've dabbled in anime-style webtoons but didn't really enjoy that type of content, so these 4-panel funny comics are the ones I'm proud of.

Every artist has their own preferred art style (or some have a variety) and I'm no different. There are many different art styles (fine art, geometry, realism, and so on) but if I were to choose between my style and another, I'd say I'll attempt anime again. Let me just set the record straight for aspiring artists that it is "OK" to adopt the anime art style even if some people frown upon it (lecturers and art teachers especially).

If you're an aspiring comic book artist or general artist that would like to try out comics, my advice is to start and just start. Many artists have wonderful imaginations but they hold themselves back when it comes to comics. Naturally, you'd need to have the basic structure to make comics (ideation, storyboarding, drawing and illustrating, and so on) but it all starts from taking that first step. Know that your first comic or first 100 may suck but that's OK. We keep learning, keep improving as we produce more and more of them. Till the point one day, someone will comment that your comic has 'made their day' and you'll know you've made it.

I created my comics to make people laugh, really. Life can be mundane at times but it doesn't have to be boring. Because everyone deserves a good laugh. Emotion-wise, I tend to slot in some PSA at times just to raise awareness, but really most of the time it's lighthearted content that really tickles the audience and brings about a chuckle or two.

I started my comics with the intent of creating these to brighten up someone's day. Like most comic artists nowadays, I'd be happy if I could create my own community that loves and supports my work. Things like this take time. Also, like I mentioned, most of my time is spent on creating animations nowadays, so I put out comics in between, and not every social media algorithm favors that. Still, I'm happy to continue posting my comics as long as there are people out there who love 'em.

In particular, there was a comment from a user one time that mentioned my comics-inspired her (I think it's her) to start drawing like me. She mentioned there's so many flashy and sophisticated comics in the world nowadays that sometimes simple is more enjoyable. I figure she enjoys my art style being very simple and colorful, as opposed to a lot of art we see nowadays. I'm glad for that.

To be frank, art has always accompanied me in my life. It would be too much to talk about everything it touched but to describe it in the best way, art allows me to see things differently. Art allows people to think differently, see differently, and connect with people on an emotional and emphatic level. That's perhaps the most important aspect that I've learned from it.

To close it out, there are so many amazing artists in the world out there and I'm happy to be one of them. Comics are just one medium that artists use to convey their thoughts. I use them to depict those silly and unexpected moments in our lives that we may or may not be conscious of, and the best feeling is when someone stops for a moment and tells me "Oh that happens to me too, lol".

I also hope my comics would lead my audience into supporting my YouTube channel where I turn my slice of life comics into animated versions, for those who love animations as well.
