African leopard (Panthera pardus) - Africat Rescue & Rehabilitation Centre, Namibia
Take a look at this leopard! He's been photographed from over 100 feet away, and he can still sense that someone is watching him. This photo was taken at the Africat rescue centre, which provides a safe haven for animals that have been displaced or injured in the wild. Even though he's living in a place where he's safe from harm, the leopard's instinctual awareness is still active.
