In September 2017 my class took part in a module in which we had to arrange an installation of our photography work in a public venue. This venue had to be carefully selected so the project transformed from a photographic body of work into an intervention.
I photographed thirty-three volunteers from all walks of life (including myself) whose lives have all been affected by sexual assault.
I chose to install my photographs (in the form of stickers) in nightclub bathrooms due to the amount of young men and women that get sexually harassed, intimidated, assaulted, raped in this kind of location.
This project took nine months, I achieved a fantastic grade and I plan to carry it on for as long as I can.
My future plans for this work is to hopefully use it as an education tool, to maybe take it into schools and the work place as part of sex education.
