What’s up people welcome to my first post! I hope you are all having a fantastic day. I guess with this first post I want to just touch on some of the things I will be writing and posting about every week. I have always been fascinated with different ways of thinking about life as well as different types of perspective. I firmly believe that the main root to achieving happiness and inner peace is through how you perceive each situation you go through in life, while I know most of you have an idea on how to do this, I think it is very important to find different ways that work for you. We all know during life’s busy schedule we don’t always have the time to sit down and meditate for 10 minutes. So, each week that I post I will be bringing a different way of appreciating what each day has to offer through different types of philosophy and thinking. Starting off my first post this week we will be talking about the simple, yet profound topic called the Law of Attraction. Now I am sure most of you have heard or read somewhere about this way of thinking because it has really become popular in recent years not only because of how effective it is, but also due to its ability to make people realize their thinking patterns. For those of you who aren’t aware of what the Law of Attraction is, it basically boils down to the idea that thinking positive thoughts will lead to positive outcomes and situations in your life, while on the other hand thinking negative thoughts will bring negative situations into your life. I remember the first time I had heard of such an idea. I was kind of skeptical of it in the beginning thinking that it really could not be all that simple. I figured I would give it a shot and see what happened. I had read somewhere that the best way to start the day is with a thought of gratitude and appreciation for a great day before it even starts. When I started my day this way it had a snowball effect on my day like I had never witnessed before. The sun seemed brighter the grass seemed greener and everything seemed to come to me with such ease. So if you are interested in trying to adapt this mindset I have some steps that I used that worked really well for me and they are as follows:
• Each day morning you wake up start with two powerful words, THANK YOU! Because whether you realize it or not waking up is an incredible blessing.
• Whenever you start feeling overwhelmed take a deep breath and realize that this moment will pass.
• Realize that thinking negatively does nothing except keep you in a bad mood, so as soon as you change your thoughts the better you will feel.
• Be happy now and attract happy situations into your life
• Your thoughts manifest more than you realize once you understand this there are great times ahead
• Don’t take everything so seriously let loose have a good time because life is short, having fun and thinking about fun things brings more of the same feelings into your life!
I challenge you to go out and adapt this way of thinking this week and see what kind of change you notice in every situation you face. If you liked the content feel free to check back in next week for a different perspective and mindset to try out. I’ll leave you with a quote to think about as well, this quote comes from one of my favorite philosophers Marcus Aurelius “The happiness of your life depends upon the quality of your thoughts.” I hope you have a fantastic week!
