Pop Pop – Top 5! It’s Show Time! Best Wedding Songs In 2017.

In the summer there are various celebrations: from birthdays to festivals, from christening to weddings. Despite that you want to hear high-quality, good contemporary music, it’s not always an easy task to choose, what kind of music you want to hear in your own celebrations. And if you like it, do your guests will also love it too? So we did a small research on what kind of songs the audience like and are most popular this summer (2017 m.). We found lots of them and we selected a few songs that we illustrated.

All of these 5 pieces were recorded and filmed in Lithuanian resort town Birštonas. The sound was recorded not in the studio, it was taken there and at that time, nothing was changed. It’s not perfect, but sometimes emotions take over. Everything was filmed and set up by Edvinas Micuta. How? Why? Some thoughts about the work with the songs:

1. Pitbull feat. Christina Aquilera - This Moment Cover

We tried to interpret and somehow the main tune penetrates in and we wanted to play it. At the time we had just ipad keyboard and piano melody sounded very nice :) At Birštonas fields we found some moose sculpture. Statues reminded of the gates, through which we should pass and after that they should open up some new opportunities, so we decided to make this piece right there.

2. Ariana Grande ft. Nicki Minaj - Side to side cover

Love. Amusement. The relationship of two people, when from the first meeting both day and night, think about that person and about the feeling that He / she causes. This feeling is like a drug without which you cannot be. According to the song's melody you can’t stand still. You want to move. In the forest you can find various roads, where you can feel like a little ant between a huge movement and what's going on around us. Everybody in hurry, only occasionally it is necessary to stop and recognize that feeling.

3. Bruno Mars - 24K Magic cover

The song is heavy energetic, full of characters. We found a very big yellow head coming form the ground in the middle of the meadow on the coast of river Nemunas and it became the muse of the song :) During the video making everybody around may thought that we’re crazy: we were twisting in all directions, jumping and shouting (a fragment of the song recorded a capella), sang a little bit, then chanting. Happiness is rising through the edges!

4. Rihanna - Love on the brain cover

It's R & B, soul ballad, whose theme is love, as always. Only this time it's toxic, poisonous. Love implicates and does not release. Love or hate. As it once is said: " There is only 1 step from love to hate." The video of the song is dark, closed and lyrical.

5. DJ Snake & Justin Bieber - Let me love you cover

While walking in Birštonas town and approaching the Nemunas river coast, we found a very interesting installation with branches, among which water drops were falling down. The theme of the song is love, which is endless as the water. We were certain that this place is just perfect for the song. There were a lot of noisy people around and a video making turned out to a public concert then and there :D The people were very happy about it ;-)
