I Travel And Photograph People Around The World To Overcome My Social Phobia And Fear Of Flying

My name is David Tesinsky and I'm frequently traveling the world for more than 10 years. My aim is to photograph people with somehow controversial lifestyles or destinies, or just creatively capture 'normal people'.

During these 10 years, I have visited around 60 countries. I must admit that it was quite challenging for me at first as I had problems talking with people when I was younger. However, after meeting a lot of real warm-hearted good people it became much better and they helped me to heal my soul and myself.

Nonetheless, another problem occurred as flying became a 'panic attack matter' to me and it's only getting worse. I think that the fact that I went through a private jet crash doesn't help me either. Also, being bipolar makes things much worse but it is pretty decent at the moment.

I've been staying in the war-zone in Donbas, Ukraine, photographing women soldiers that are currently fighting Russia. I've played guitar in the open air to the whole slum with the full audience in Osaka, Japan. It was "Karma Police" by Radiohead. I've been even teaching photojournalism class at the Prague College for one semester. I visited a jail in Ukraine and photographed the murderers convicted for life.

There is an ongoing artsy satirical project called LIFE IS GOOD. It all started in 2012 as a purely satirical creative product - an ongoing photo project - to make people laugh, think and kill the stereotypes and prejudices. Also, to make the world a better place.
