Pet Portraits In Encaustic (wax)

I paint pet portraits in a medium called "encaustic". It is one of the oldest painting mediums in the world made by mixing melted wax with either dry pigment or artist oil paint. I create the image by layering transparent glazes of molten wax one on top of the other until the desired texture and depth is achieved.
