Some things should be banned. Nah, I’m not talkin’ cheeseburgers in vending machines, white Nutella, or Nickelback. But throwing BS around like it's no big deal should be against the law.

Since that’s not the case, some unsung heroes have done everyone a public service and are calling out that BS, whether big or small. There’s even the whole subreddit community r/quityourbulls**t dedicated to documenting their deeds and sharing the screenshots that prove we live in a world with that much less BS.

This time, we’re looking at the best BS callouts of the year that delivered the burn straight to the target. Because let’s face it, 2020 has been too much already, and if there’s anything we can’t handle anymore, it’s people talking nonsense while we work our way to survival.

The Reddit community Quit Your B*****it, which shares screenshots of people calling out BS, was created in 2013 and has since amassed a whopping 1.5 million members.

On August 19th, 2013, one redditor titled GreenMagine shared a Facebook conversation in which someone was accused of lying about their engagement. The post has received more than 3,000 points (96% upvoted) and 400 comments in a little over six years. That day, another Reddit user menderslan stated that they "wish there was a whole subreddit for this, like r/quityourbullshit or something." The rest was history.

Meanwhile, r/Quit Your B*****it rose to fame in March 2017 when it made one of its earliest popular posts when someone shared a post by Arnold Schwarzenegger responding to a troll who criticized the Special Olympics. Over three years, it got 41,000 points and 950 comments.The community is still active to this day, calling out any type of lies, fake news, and plain nonsense which happens all too often these days.
