Vases are usually made from glass or clay, but Nick from NZ Woodturning decided to create one using pencils. "I like to be different," the artist said. "Most things I make you wouldn't have seen before." Nick stacked 4 layers of pencils around a block of wood, filled the gaps with resin which, after completion, created an awesome 3D effect. "It's a bit of a funny shape, but it's a funky piece anyway!"
