Did you know that Paris Hilton invented the selfie way back in 2006? No? Well, neither did we, because it's not true. At all. Still, that didn't stop the socialite and hotel heiress from announcing on twitter recently that she was apparently the originator of modern society's most narcissistic past-time. "11 years ago today, Me and Britney invented the selfie!" she wrote alongside some snaps of her and the pop star posing together. But Twitter was quick to shut her down with various examples of people who got there before her, including Frank Sinatra, Joey and Chandler, Mr Bean, and Paul McCartney. Who did it best?
