Did you know that watercolors can produce stunning results when used on non-absorbent paper? I love vibrant colors and really enjoy the challenge of painting on synthetic paper. It is completely different than applying watercolor to regular paper.
Synthetic paper doesn't absorb the colored water so you have to wait until the liquid evaporates, leaving the colored pigments on the paper. It may take a while to develop a technique but, when you do, you get unique results every time.
