Music plays a large role in my form of painting. I love how a song can take you back in time to when you first heard it, or forward in time where your dreams live. My paintings represent the impact your soul feels when a song moves you. It can feel both chaotic and also in perfect, mathematically-precise order.
Each painting represents a song or a particular genre I'm listening to at the time. I use latex paint and various other mediums to pull the rhythms and vibrations of music and apply them to the canvas. Some colors ask me to whisper the paint onto the canvas, and some to scream it. Whatever it takes to be true to how the music speaks to me.
