This bear was created after I moved to a fishing resort on Oyama Lake. I wanted to create something with a whimsical narrative that included all of my favorite things here: Nature, Animals, and the cabins that line the shore.
My goal was to create a print version of this painting so that visitors to the lodge would have a keepsake to take home with them as a reminder of their vacation.
Oyama Bear was created on wood panel using a combination of acrylic paints and ink pen and then sealed with a matte protective varnish.
