This is the story of our Elf on the Shelf and how she got married.
My sister has 4 children. She started out with one Elf on the shelf and soon it got married... then a year later it had two children. Her thought was that when her kids are all grown they would each get one of the elves to carry on the tradition in their homes. Well, it wasn't long before my two little girls were asking when "Carly Tina Flower-Blossom" would be getting married. And I kind of liked the idea that they could each have an Elf when they start their own families... so this year Carly brought home a Husband! She left a note explaining that she had fallen in love and even left a photo album of their wedding and honeymoon to Hawaii. My girls LOVED it! I made each of them a mini album as a keepsake. How did I pull it off? I'm a middle school teacher and my husband, an active duty soldier is stationed away from us right now so my time is limited. I was able to photograph our Elves during both my and their "Off season." After I photographed our Elves I then photo shopped them into tropical surroundings and added leis, straw hats and horses. To make the actual album I printed two photos to a sheet of 4x6 photo paper, cut and used washi tape to hold it all together. And now the moment you've all been waiting for, introducing Mr. and Mrs. Flower-Blossom!
