What does an orangutan look for in a housemate? A vegan tree-hugger? Well, you can see for yourself as an orangutan named Pongo has uploaded a SpareRoom advert after losing his jungle habitat home in Borneo to palm oil deforestation.
In the advert, Pongo explains he's made his way to the UK with a little help from his friends at Meridian (the palm oil free nut butter brand) and International Animal Rescue, he's made his way to the UK to find a new home and spread the message about the impact deforestation is having on my critically endangered species.
He's been touring the UK for the past two weeks leaving behind a number of poignant artworks to educate Brits on his plight - you can see some of his artwork below and see his ad in the link below.
He's received over 200 messages so far from people after a furry housemate! Cuuuuuute, no?
