New Illustrations By Artist Pawel Kuczynski Put A Finger On The Wounds Of Today's Society

Art is not just about beauty. One of her greatest powers is, precisely, to criticize the world without having to use absolutely any words, thus crossing any borders or language limitations. In this sense, Polish illustrator Pawel Kuczynski is a master. In an intelligent and acerbic way, the artist addresses social, political and economic issues of global importance. Ridiculing our obsessive relationship with the virtual world, he opens up a series of questions. Among them, the undeniable fact that we live in a sick society.

A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznan, his illustrations began in 2014, when a friend encouraged him to enter a competition. Over the years, the artist has perfected his art as he was successful on social media and won awards. To date, there have been more than 140 distinctions.

With thousands of followers on his social media, the artistry of this daring Pole is more than necessary. His illustrations talk about consumerism, alienation, animal cruelty, political games and our overexposure on social media. Sometimes it is necessary to distance yourself and observe the world from another, more conscious and critical perspective.
