Nature-Inspired Ceramics: 20 Sets I Sculpted From The Comfort Of My Bed

Just as a goldsmith uses gold as a material, I use the medium of wonder to shape my work! I’ve shared Wonder in many forms throughout the years. Everything I do is designed to enhance our connections to ourselves, our community, and the glorious natural world. The various landscapes of my home, the Pacific Northwest, inspire everything I create, from the ceramics I sculpt to the recipes I bake!

I grew up in remote Idaho and spent my summers on a fire lookout many miles from civilization. It was in these idyllic natural settings that I developed a deep love of the natural world, as well as a healthy imagination. I pursued my creativity all the way to art school in Canada, where I dove into working with my hands to create unique tableware and artwork.

Currently, I live with my partner Cristin and adopted dog Grimm in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, where we love to explore the landscapes that inspire me.

I do this work because I feel like the world needs it. We need to notice the magic and engage with the wonder. We need to see the beauty in nature so we feel compelled to protect it. And, importantly, we need to have fun.
