Myanmar - Extraordinary People

Myanmar is a fascinating country with breathtaking sceneries. However, what makes a country is not its geography, but more its people. I spent almost 1 year in the country, and met the friendliest people all along my journey. Why Burmese are so special? It could be some reasons. Myanmar was under dictatorship until very recently, the longest dictatorship of the history, for over 50 years… They are specially curios about the outside world. Majority of the population practise one of the oldest form of Buddhism. A truth sense of compassion can be seen amongst them in every aspect of daily life. We are talking about one of the world poorest countries; however the level of donation, charity is one of the highest. They are warm, friendly, humbled, kind, yet mysterious people…
