Ever since I became a mother I discovered a new passion: zentangling. Now I can't stop drawing.
When does a work at home mom (I try to make a living out of my art) find time for her hobbies?
When the kids are sleeping.
That means I spend most of my nights drawing and in the morning I'm up for parenting again :)
After practicing zentangling for more than a year, I decided I must level up and do something different.
Out of love for drawing and star gazing, I thought those little shiny spots would look great combined with my drawings. Then I remembered Hubble's captures of the Universe and... Woah!
That was it!
Human art met Universe's art.
I spent many nights working on the zentangle drawings, two more nights to see if I'm allowed to use Space images for commercial purpose, find the right images on NASA's website, scan the drawings and edit everything.
I say it was worth it.
