Writing fantasy is a bit like taking a glass jar and holding it up against a star-filled sky to say, "Look! A universe in a jar."
It takes a unique sort of perspective, to see these rather commonplace objects, or everyday moments, and have the power to look beyond the moment to find magic.
For one who can--writing it down is the easy part. For those who cannot; no amount of creative writing courses or free marketing ebooks will make you an author. Because being a self-published fantasy author isn't just about perfecting a sales funnel. It's about dreaming the dream--the BIG dream; the one no one else could see--and then MAKING them SEE it.
Now that's what I call art.
