This summer I went to Uganda and Rwanda to study about Peace,Conflict,and Development.Along the way I met some of the most amazing people I've ever met.These two countries opened a lot on my perspective of Africa,about colonialism, and how detrimental the media can cheery pick what to broadcast to the general to reinforce stereotypes. Rwanda and Uganda are beautiful countries with struggling people is objectively true, but also inspirational people that is common, if not the same, as any place in general.
