I am a mother, a wife, a student, and a photographer. I am currently completing a masters in Mental Health Counseling, and because I am a stay at home mom (after being laid off from teaching high school), I decided that I had to do something to help support our household income, and that is when a friend encouraged me to pick up the camera.
I was not foreign to the 35mm, but I was very foreign to digital. I took a stab out at, and today I run a small photography business that helps me in more ways than just income. It helps me to create. I love to tell stories and that is what I try to do with my photos.
My love for vintage photography has helped to foster some wonderful stories due to the beautiful memories I have of my childhood growing up. Although the time and location are both different in correlation to the story I am currently working on, the nuances and expressions are somewhat the same. So thus, My Momma's Love was created and continues to blossom into a beautiful memoir.
These vintage photos are part of that growing story, and I would love to have others join me in my photographic journey, as well as follow my tale through its culmination.
Thank you,
Liza
