I am a Project Manager and when my company asked us to Work from home - the first thing that came to my mind was
how will I work with my "New co-worker" - my son. Working from home could be difficult and frustrating for many, especially those who have never worked from home. But, little did I know - the challenges, fun and new world I will get to see. So now I have to juggle with working full time and parenting my Complete Power Packed 3 y.o toddler. Luckily, my wife didn't join back work after moving from Perth to Melbourne.
Only a little bit of planning, communication, flexibility and lot of creativity and smile and it was EASY. But to be honest, I was really scared the first few days - of all the extra noise, unscheduled play and the usual toddler requests in the background while I am in a meeting, working on my day to day tasks or just thinking - but my wife told me that its ok, everyone is working from home and they will understand. Just take it easy - and trust me it worked. So here is a glimpse of my new co-worker and I working together.
I am going to miss him , once we both go back to our own working space.
