#1 "Two-Headed Tropico" (2020)

I like to believe I have been creating Surreal art my whole life, as my art was often considered strange and unrealistic content-wise from a young age. Art has always been my way of connecting with nature and animals, the beauty of humankind, and God on an intense spiritual level.
#2 "Lotus Girl" (2020)

#3 "Touchness" (2020)

Regarding nature and animals, I have been an animal lover since a very young age and was never interested in other topics as a child. I feel like depicting animals in Surreal art is what I'm best at content-wise, capturing the unique personalities and souls of the beautiful creatures. I love animals with all my heart, and painting them in a Surreal style makes me feel more connected to nature and the animals, and fuels me with more passion to protect them and their environments. Surrealism makes them more obviously have souls, and the vibrant colors of Pop Surrealism captures how saturated and beautiful their coats are.
#4 "Mother Flytrap" (2020)

#5 "Drowned Fears" (2020)

As for the beauty of humankind, Surrealism gives me a way to depict people in a unique, outstanding spiritual manner that Realism or any other style of art does not do. I'm able to make impossible things happen on a canvas, (like lotus petals growing out of the skin), and overly saturated skin. With Surrealism, not only am I capturing the outer beauty of someone, but also the inner beauty and spirituality of the person. With Pop Surrealism specifically, I love to paint people that are well-known (like Pop Art), and paint them in a spiritual way that they may not even see themselves. It's truly a gift to naturally create Surreal images.
#6 "Blossom" (2020)

#7 "Mischievous" (2020)

Regarding my own spirituality, I believe it takes a huge part in the ideas I come up with and the paintings I create. If it wasn't for my personal faith and relationship with God, I don't think my art would be nearly as interesting as it is, or as beautiful. I am not entirely a technique artist, yet I've progressed and have become better so quickly in the past few years. It comes naturally, as art should for an artist. When I discovered my art fit under the Surrealism category, and Pop Surrealism specifically, it was almost confirmation that my spirituality should continue to be depicted in my art, and to keep my faith. Overall, Surreal art is what saved me in a way.
#8 "Lotus Girl Card" (2020)

#9 "Queen Of Rubies" (2020)

Overall, I love creating oddly beautiful visuals for people to see and think about. My art is my passion, and each piece is like a child of mine that I love so dearly. Of course, I don't keep my work to myself, but I share it on my Etsy, Instagram, basically every possible app we know of. It is important to me that I get my message to as many people and art fans as possible, and find people that will resonate with my work on a personal level. I want people to feel beautiful, understood, think about their own spirituality, and just have a taste of Pop Surreal work if they haven't.
