As an early Valentines Day present my husband, Brendan Lancaster (@brendanlancasterart), reimagined me as a apocalyptic warrior woman and mother. We have a 9 month daughter together who was born during the pandemic. Brendan is an amazingly supportive father and talented artist. He is currently building his portfolio, with the hope of making art a full time career, and decided to use me as inspiration. This painting shows the powerful alter ego that I have developed being a mother. I’m so lucky to have such a fantastic husband to support me. It would mean the world to him to have this image and his art featured.
