I am an artist that paints murals and street art, and last year was a challenging one in that aspect. Usually I travel several months in a year painting anywhere they want me to, but last year I mostly stayed at home, with three trips out of state. The first one resulted in this fun mural, a shelf full with candy jars, that represent diversity. It took me 8 days, the size is 120'x9' and all done with house paint, brushes and method of transfer was grid. I hope you enjoy the pics showing the progress and end result.

Overview of most of the mural

A friend came to visit and demonstrated some of the fun ways to interact with the mural

Day 2 when things started to take shape...

The tools of the trade...

The last of the candy...

Almost there..

It rained one day and made a perfect photo

Day 6?

Turning the corner...

Day 4

Day 3

When I was painting all that candy (that I bought and took references of) I got a little dizzy from all the sugar overload... so the finale of the mural was this section, and the title of the mural became "eat your vegetables"... :)
