A butterfly sculpture made from scrap metal and stained glass was the customers order; So I set about finding just the right scrap metal components to create her commission. This was the end result, the butterfly sits on bearings from a motorcycle wheel to allow it to move in the wind.

Steampunk Garden Butterfly
Bicycle parts to antique candlesticks went into making this large garden butterfly. Scouring scrap yards and junk shops it took 2 months to source the right shaped pieces of scrap metal for this piece. The bearings in the motorbike wheel allows the butterfly to move in the wind.
