Ants are actually cute (as long as they don't invade your flat or so) and they are an important part of nature. They live among giant leaves and stones, which are tiny for us.
It's hard to catch them in a picture (although there are many photographers who are making ant portraits, like, for example, John Kimbler), especially with my gear, but during the past years, I successfully managed to get some acceptable shots of ants, which you can see here.
