So why on earth did everybody in my workplace get me to do this? Well, it all stemmed from asking them if they wanted to come with me to see the Coca Cola Christmas Truck in Cardiff, of which everyone said “No!” and pretty much “Get a life!”. I told them all that I would make them jealous by going down there and having a selfie done with it. Then came the barrage of requests and the 10 selfies in a day challenge.
Now I’m not a selfie master by any means. I’m a typical 31-year-old guy, married, with a home and a great job. Selfies are the last thing on my mind. But what the heck? Let’s give it a go.
After doing this challenge, these guys still don’t know that for a few months or more I have been suffering something terrible with low mood, anxiety, stress amongst other things. My job can be very stressful, especially as a Senior Web Developer for one of Britain’s largest and most successful comparison sites. So, by setting me this challenge they were helping me a lot.
Maybe doing something like this for someone you know in your workplace could help them too.

Challenge Number 1 - The next guy that walks by the office window (He wasn’t very receptive to it but I got him in there anyway… as he walked away)
Challenge Number 2 – An empty mug (You think this is daft? It gets worse!)
Challenge 3 – A dog (Bumped into this lovely guy and his lovely owners in the park and got my third challenge done)
Challenge 4 – A selfie with The Queen (Unfortunately, the queen wasn’t in Cardiff that day but we did manage to find a biscuit tin with her face on it. That counts, right?)
Challenge 5 – The Coca-Cola Christmas Truck (I honestly thought this would be packed out but I managed to get my picture anyway)
Challenge 6 – A selfie with the pavement (In the middle of Cardiff at lunchtime, I laid on the floor and took this. What a moment of madness!)
Challenge 7 – Tub of Butter (Yes, someone challenged me to do a selfie with a tub of butter)
Challenge 8 – Pot of Fruit (It gets worse…)
Challenge 9 – Soup (I told you but wait! There’s more…)
Challenge 10 – A Bottle of Pepsi (Once that was done, I had it in the bag! Challenge complete!)
