Diana Merfeldiene is an Emerging Artist form Ireland
Di discovered her passion for ART in her early childhood living and growing in a beautiful city of Riga, Latvia. However she never thought to pursue art as a career as she was told from her early age that you can’t make a living being an artist.
She moved to Ireland in 2004 and fell in love with the Emerald Isle full of charm. Here she met her husband and become a mom to 4 beautiful girls. All this time Diana continued working in Logistics, while quietly dreaming of becoming a full time artist one day.
Everything changed in 2020. Covid and Lockdown hit, life slowed down and in a way gave her some space to rethink and revaluate priorities in life. Every day she heard the little voice inside louder and louder calling her to pursue her passion.
Finally Diana made a decision to quit Logistics Job and fulfil her long time passion to become professional artist. She is now creating special artwork that connects with people on a deeper level. She loves to experiment with different processes, paints, colours and mediums along the way as she interprets what she sees and how she feels. It took Di a while to accept herself as an artist, let her inner creativity out and hush her inner critic and now it is her purpose in life to help other people to do the same.
