Do you remember VHS tapes? There used to be a time when, if you wanted to see a movie, you had to go to a video store and buy or rent a VHS tape. The covers, style, and vibe of the VHS tapes were very '80s/'90s and they were all pretty similar. When we see old movie covers now, it's impossible not to feel nostalgic.
Digital artist Steelberg taps into that nostalgia by turning modern movies and TV shows into VHS tapes. He takes the covers and makes them look like they belong in the '80s or '90s. It's really interesting and fun to see modern things getting a vintage and old-school makeover. It's easier to imagine what today's movies and TV shows would have looked like 30 years ago.
