According to a survey by OnePoll for MDLIVE, millennial moms are taking on way more than they can handle. In fact, four out of five admit they often find themselves thinking, “I’ll just do it myself” to make sure everything gets done right and on time.
Even though they’re pros at multitasking, nine out of 10 moms say they’re so overwhelmed that they’d jump at the chance to clone themselves. With burnout hitting hard (76%), the average mom says she’d need at least four clones just to keep up with everything on her plate.
Wondering how moms would put their clones to work? Well, 56% said they’d need help keeping the house tidy. With little ones constantly making messes, picking up toys, dishes, and clutter every few hours can be exhausting. Ignoring the mess just leads to even more chaos!
Nearly 38% felt they’d need a babysitter. Let’s be real—parents need a break too! Whether it's for some much-needed self-care, catching up on sleep, or just spending quality time with each other, having someone to watch the kids would be a game changer.
About 36% said a personal assistant would help get their lives organized. It’s overwhelming for moms to juggle so many responsibilities, especially new moms who might be dealing with postpartum depression. In these cases, having someone to help keep things in order would be a huge relief.
Another thing that could make life easier for moms? A clone to help with tutoring or homework. School-aged kids often need a lot of guidance to grasp new concepts, and homework time can take hours, leaving moms with little time for anything else.
