Imagine experiencing a favorite moment in your life over and over again and each time it's like the first time! This is the sliver lining for a horrible disease known as Alzheimer's/Dementia. My mom has suffered from it for many years, but one of her life long wishes was to become an "Abuelita" (grandma in Spanish). We were able to help her with that with the announcement of our daughter Arrow. I know it takes my mom a while to retain anything, but each time we told her she just got more and more excited. We had recorded it the first couple times and quickly realized we had to document most, if not all, the times we told her. What we wound up with was a moment that will last in our hearts forever and I hope you can share in that happiness.
