Every photo on Kimberly Douglas' Instagram account looks like a fashion magazine cover. The costumes, the makeup, the lighting, everything breathes quality; exactly what you'd expect from images produced by a large crew. But it's just Kimberly. Behind all of it.
She uses the guest room in her house as a studio and does photoshoots of herself against backgrounds and props she creates from scratch. Kimberly makes her own detailed set pieces, which are often inspired by nature, and it's clear that she can transform even the most ordinary objects into beautiful storytelling devices.
