The Toy Story movies have been in our lives for 25 years! The original came out in 1995 and had a sequel 4 years later. Part 3 hit the silver screen in 2010 and we had to wait a long while until the fourth Toy Story film came out in 2019. Is it likely that we’ll see Toy Story 5? It’s always a possibility but I wouldn’t hold my breath if I were you, dear Pandas—Pixar already has its next wave of releases planned out for the next few years.

Though you’ll find plenty of hidden details on the screen, you need a dash of insider-knowledge to learn about all the other fun bits of Toy Story trivia. For example, did you know that the animators surrounded themselves with toys while working on Toy Story 4 to always feel inspired? (We also learned that our Lord and Savior Keanu Reeves, who voiced Duke Caboom, was fascinated with LEGOs when he was growing up. Keanu, how is it that you keep surprising us?)

In a parallel universe, there’s probably an animated movie series called ‘You are a Toy’—that’s what would’ve happened if Pixar had stuck with the provisional name it had come up with.

Meanwhile, the Woody we know and love could have turned out to be a completely different character if things weren’t changed around. In the early days of Toy Story’s storyboarding, Woody was a complete and utter jerk who was cruel to the other toys. My honest opinion? I love that Woody was changed to be an endearing leader and a fast friend in the end.

I don’t know about you, dear Pandas, but one thing’s for sure—I will be binge-watching all of the Toy Story movies after work this week.
