I am a self-taught hand lettered st the beginning of my journey. My Instagram page @angelariggs and Facebook page Love Letter Together are dedicated to helping other learn to express themselves in beautiful ways using modern calligraphy.
After the loss of my son in 2013 to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS), I began writing letters to him on my blog www.survivingsids.com. After about three years I found myself out of words to express how much I missed him. I was inspired one day in July 2016 to teach myself to emote not just through the words I choose but also through the manner in which the words are displayed. My hand lettering journey began that day and I've made it mh mission to make this skill accessible to others by documenting my journey online and through local workshops.
