TELL ME MORE!!
Being one of the largest members of the pigeon family, the Nicobar Pigeon is generally labelled as a solitary bird that will, when in search of food, travel in flocks of up to 85 birds from island to island. Being ground-dwellers, the Nicobar Pigeon spends a lot of its time moseying around. Although they prefer to stay on the ground, they will, every so often, spread their beautiful wings, and take to the air. When they do fly, they tend to soar in single files or columns, as opposed to loose flocks.
