A colleague of mine showed me a video about the Youngest Master Penman, I wanted to know more about Master Penman, but not just the Master Penman, I wanted to know more about the youngest Jake Weidmann. During my searches I came across his blog and a video "Forging the Future with the Tip of the Pen"
He has not only carved wooden wings for his wife on their wedding day, but also designed and made the wedding rings, he has a natural talent for art any any form.
When he first started with calligraphy he felt the pens were limiting his movements and he started crafting his own pens.
I have watched almost all of his videos and read his blog which is mostly written by his wife Hannah.
How many times have you felt that the art of the written word is dwindling into oblivion... often??
Just to hear Jake speak about the art of using a pen is enough inspiration needed to pick up a pen and start writing and to write just about anything.
