Utilizing a drone, I capture overhead shots of my expansive beach designs; while many assume I use it throughout the process for verification, the truth is I only deploy it at the culmination to immortalize my creations. Given the constraints of time and tide, the designs vary in size, ranging anywhere from 30 to 100 meters wide, with their dimensions influenced not just by their intricacy but also by the ever-shifting rhythms of the ocean, a constant reminder of the impermanence of my art.
Venturing to the beach, I frequently find myself devoid of a preconceived concept, allowing the sands and waves to inspire me, though occasionally I come equipped with sketches prepared on paper. My creative juices can be stirred by diverse sources, from the intricate details of tattoo art to random sparks of inspiration I might stumble upon while browsing the internet. A particular penchant of mine lies in crafting graphic designs, where I delight in weaving intricate patterns, blending both the organic contours of nature with the structured beauty of geometric forms.
Drawing on the beach transitioned from a passion to my full-time profession in 2015, and since then, I've had the privilege of crafting bespoke designs tailored to the unique visions of individuals, businesses, and organizations, weaving their stories and missions into the vast canvas that the shoreline provides.
As far as I can, I try sometimes to enlighten people about causes I find interesting to defend. It's often around the environmental issue we face, actually.
But the most important is to bring some reveries to people's everyday lives with my photos and videos.
