Marek Naszczak's painting is sometimes associated with surrealism due to the atmosphere of his paintings,
however, it is fundamentally different from that direction. There is no literal automatism in Naszczak's paintings
transferring dream visions into the image. His paintings are characterized by the logic of building an image, a well-thought-out composition,
colors and a very diverse and rich structure of the surface of the paintings. The subject of the paintings is usually man and his condition in the world. The subject of the painting is only a pretext for its creation and is of secondary importance, the most important is the painterly level of the painting.
