I'm an oil painter from New Zealand creating surreal paintings made with an unusual process.
I start with a marbeling process (floating oil paint on water then transferring the pattern to paper). Once that's dry I work in thin transparent layers of oil paint to bring out patterns, people and objects. It's an organic, almost subconscious approach that results in stunningly unique paintings.
