A group of people were horrified as they watched a baby deer stuck in raging flood waters įn Iowa. The poor thing was not only drowning, he was also wounded, and it was clear eventually he will get too exhausted to swim. A witness called 911 and was told there was nothing to be done to save the animal . The death seemed very close until one brave man decided to take the rescue operation upon himself…
That man is a member of The Good Samaritans organization. When they arrived, they used rope and lifted the baby deer to safety. The rescuers stayed with the deer and took care of him until he was ready to be released back into the wild.
This was such an example of the community coming together to save an animal, and the baby deer couldn't be happier to be given a second chance...
