The first reaction of a person who found caterpillars in his vegetables is to throw them away and quickly! However, Briton Sam Darlaston turned out to be a true nature lover, so he didn't get rid of the unwanted guests found in a packet of broccoli. Instead, the guy decided to create them and release them when they could spread their wings.
Sam told us:
"I found them in some supermarket broccoli and kept them as pets until they became butterflies! So far 6 of the caterpillars have evolved into butterflies and one remains a chrysalis! I love animal and always have. I’m a presenter by trade, and one day I hope to branch into wildlife presenting so I can work with them and help protect them!"
