It was just a regular day for Max driving around Arizona three years ago. That was until he noticed a cardboard box on the side of the road with the words, "FREE CAT" written on it in black sharpie. Arizona summers can get extremely and unpleasantly hot, Max pulled over to check if there really was something inside the box. Just as the box promised, a small cat was inside. He could tell by her size that she was only a few months old and malnourished.
Max took the small cat to the local animal shelter to be in good hands and put up for adoption. However, after a few days passed, he realized he missed her too much and went back to the shelter to permanently adopt her. He named her Rosie and they were instantly bonded.
Three years later they are still best friends and Rosie is a happy and healthy member of the family!
